Cinacalcet hydrochloride (HCI) is a medication used for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease and for the management of hypercalcemia in patients with parathyroid carcinoma or primary hyperparathyroidism. It is sold under the brand name Sensipar (or Mimpara).
